LUBEMAXX Diesel Particulate Filter Cleaner is designed to make it easier to regenerate the diesel particulate filter when the soot load on the diesel particulate filter is higher than normal.

Diesel engines are not suitable for short trips or start-stop driving conditions. During short trips, diesel engines cannot reach temperature and more soot is formed during combustion. DPFs are clogged by fuel quality, oil quality, driving style or city driving. Vehicles equipped with DPFs are programmed to regenerate the DPF as soon as the exhaust gas temperature is high enough to reach the DPF regeneration temperature (approximately 600°C).

LUBEMAXX DPF Cleaner is used for full and fast regeneration of Diesel Particulate Filters, using a fuel catalyst to reduce the temperature down to 400°C, making carbon particles more susceptible to oxidation. This will reduce exhaust back pressure and allow the turbo to start faster, improving fuel economy.

It is recommended that the 300 ml bottle of LUBEMAXX DPF Cleaner Plus be used for 35 liters to 65 liters of diesel fuel. After adding LUBEMAXX DPF Cleaner Plus to the fuel, allow the vehicle to be driven for longer distances (>50km) while regularly keeping the engine speed above 2.500 to 3.000 RPM for 30 seconds. Adding LUBEMAXX DPF Cleaner Plus to the diesel fuel tank at each service interval will help to regenerate DPF under all driving conditions.
